А1 is an independent key investment division of Alfa Group. Almost all the main business structures which are part of the Alfa Group today have grown from projects of А1. The largest ones of them are Alfa-Bank, TNK-BP, VimpelCom, X5 Retail Group, and GK Rosvodokanal.
A1's specialization is investments in the assets which are currently undervalued because of various risks which prevent the investor fron obtaining fair value for such assets, in the interests of shareholders, customers and partners.
Since 2009, А1 Investment Company has been successfully performing a project to mansge distressed assets of Alfa-Bank, which were obtained by the Bank as a result of restructuring of collateralized loans. Currently the project is at the final stage.
