Role of the Investor:
To date, Rosvodokanal has been reorganized to create a national operating company, a network of offices in all Federal Areas, and an innovative engineering services and consulting company. Rosvodokanal introduced what analysts believe to be an extremely promising public-private partnership model. The Rosvodokanal concept allows municipalities, those that continue to own public housing, to move quickly to free-market operation. Rosvodokanal is currently undertaking projects in various parts of Russia. In addition, projects in large cities in Ukraine are being developed.
Rosvodokanal project results are some of the best in the public housing sector. Administration and production costs were reduced by 30%, water losses were reduced by 18-20%, and the overall state of the networks was considerably improved.
