About the Company:
This brewery holding company is number two in Russia and the largest in Ukraine by volume of production and sales. It was formed as a strategic partnership between the Indian Sun Group and the Belgian Concern Inbev. Core brands are: in Russia – Klinskoye, Tolstyak, Siberian Crown, Staropramen, Stella Artois, Beck's; in Ukraine – Stella Artois, Beck's, Chernigovskoye, Rogan, and Taller.

Investment Idea of the Project:
Obtaining a promising position in a growing industry.
Purchase of a significant shareholding in the market leader.
Increase of asset value.

Role of the Investor:
Consolidation of a significant shareholding in Sun Interbrew.
Negotiations with Sun about purchase of its shareholding in Sun Interbrew were started. Purchase of this shareholding gave control of Sun Interbrew. In the upshot, the shareholding was bought by Inbev and an agreement was reached with InBev on the sale of our position.
The transaction became one of the largest in brewing industry history in Russia and CIS countries.
